Participants in this workshop will learn up-to-date methods for safely handling and preparing food for large groups. The workshop is appropriate for non-profit food providers such as churches, fire companies, schools, and civic groups.

Unwind, refresh, learn new skills and just have a wonderful time painting surrounded by beauty! Professional watercolor artist Jessie Vaughn provides painting instruction, encouragement, yummy food, and shares her knowledge of plants and landscaping. This is an open studio-type class, so it is not a problem if you come late. Class size is limited and fills up fast. 

Cost: $35 per person, if you bring your own supplies
Buy basic watercolor set (paints in travel palette, brushes and paper) from Jessie for an additional $35 - if you are interested in buying a watercolor set from Jessie, please indicate this in the comments section on the order form!

This course is for those with DSLR cameras (interchangeable lens cameras.) Please bring your camera with fully-charged battery and memory card. Suggested items include: tripod; polarizing filter to fit lens; an auxiliary close up filter to fit a lens or a dedicated macro lens; wide angle and telephoto lens, either fixed focal length  or zoom; camera bag. Please bring lunch, water and appropriate clothes for walking in the woods. 

In this intermediate level class, there will be a one-hour class at the Education Council, followed by a fieldtrip. Participants will learn to photograph landscapes and take close ups of wildflowers at a local state park. The weather will dictate appropriate subject material.
