Based on OSHA and NFPA70E guidelines for 2015, this course combines the essentials of industrial electrical safety, troubleshooting and installation methods in commercial and industrial three phase environments. Explored are safe work practices for electricians and maintenance personnel, identifying dangerous electrical energy sources, minimizing shock and arc flash hazards, and choosing the proper PPE. Instruction includes a blend of lecture, case studies, and interactive class discussion.
