The PCEC offers a variety of ways to help
you achieve your educational goals. One of these is a
self-study program called PLATO. The PLATO Learning System offers computerized
courses in a broad range of subjects from beginner to
advanced. These are not accredited courses, they are meant
to be tools to prepare the student for GED testing or
college study. They are also for individuals who are looking
to upgrade their skills for personal or professional
reasons. We also offer two keyboarding/typing programs,
the Ten Thumbs Typing Tutorial and Mavis Beacon Teaches
Typing, for those wishing to learn to type or refresh/upgrade their
typing skills. To sign up for PLATO or keyboarding, contact
