Credit Courses & Programs
The PCEC has offered a
variety of accredited programs through the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, PA State System of Higher Education, and Penn State University. For more information on our accredited programs, click here.

Computer Courses and other Non-Credit Courses & Programs
We offer non-credit programs from a variety of  providers. These courses have included A+ and N+ computer programs, computer courses for Microsoft software, Opportunity Knocks! and  more.

Personal Enrichment Classes
Our personal enrichment classes have included Learn to Buy and Sell on eBay, Digital Photography, genealogy research, crafting, herbs, planting and more. GED Study
We have numerous ways that you can study for your GED. We hold GED classes in our Galeton office (at scheduled times) and have a specialized self-study program to prepare students for the GED as well as the availability of a one-on-one tutor. Workforce Training and Development and Customized Job Training 
We provide programs requested by local employers to develop their employee base and enhance current employee skills. At the request of employees or employers, we can provide training specific to individual job needs or specific to assist an individual in qualifying for a job that they want. Self-Study Programs
Our self-study  resources include two varieties of keyboarding programs and the PLATO system, which  provides self-paced programs in subjects from science and math to reading and business writing. For more information on our self-study programs, click here.

Distance Education
For adults wishing to pursue higher education outside a traditional classroom setting, numerous accredited colleges and universities now offer full degree programs either online or via correspondence. This is particularly suited to working adults and/or those raising a family. The PCEC is a proctoring site for distance learning exams and we have computers and internet access available for those who require it. For more information on distance education, click here.

Educational Counseling
We have on staff individuals to assist you in determining the best educational plan to reach your goals as well as resources such as the Princeton Review , a tool that provides both career and educational assessment specific to each individual’s needs.
